"I found Alan Shipman and Setter Electric on Angie's List. My home had a malfunctioning receptacle that when replaced worked, but when any other receptacle was used would trip the replaced receptacles ground circuit interruptor and blow out older receptacles on different circuits. It was a perplexing issue that turned out to be a crossed neutral wire where someone ran 3 wires to one box instead of being in series. I called at 8am and Setter arrived by 9am the same day. They had a job the same day at 10am and offered to come immediately. We spoke on the phone for 15-20 minutes going over possibilities. They were very respectful, helpful, educational to possibilities and reasonably priced. After diagnostics they went over testing findings, possibilities and options prior to the repair to give me choices of an easy fix or appropriate re-wire. I was very pleased with their service."
